MAUK MORUK. NÃO SE METAM COM DEUS, NEM COM O DIABO… NEM COM XANANA

Mais um. A seguir a Alfredo Reinado e ao aparato que foi o seu assassinato, na casa de José Ramos Horta, foi agora a vez de Mauk Moruk ser assassinado pelas forças do regime timorense. Há anos, quando do assassinato de Alfredo Reinado, foi tentado o assassinato de José Ramos Horta, que era então presidente da República timorense, agora foi assassinado Mauk Moruk e o seu lugar-tenente, o número dois, como é especificado no despacho da Lusa. Lusa que pôs sempre muito pouco na escrita sobre Mauk Moruk. Talvez por a Lusa estar nas ex-colónias portuguesas como agência diplomática que faz notícias à medida dessa função em vez de seguir o cumprimento natural de Agência de notícias, formando e informando. Coisas… Coisas que vão para além de os seus profissionais poderem exercer a sua função profissional… Provavelmente até frequentaram um curso sobre diplomacia… E estão nessa. Duro, para quem devia estar a cumprir a sua profissão de jornalista. Eles é que sabem, eles são quem têm a carteira, eles, provavelmente, são quem mais sofre por estarem condicionados a notícias com conta, peso e medida.

Pergunte-se: mas quem era Mauk Moruk? Pois. Boa pergunta. É que a Lusa, desde Timor-Leste, sempre divulgou muito pouco, quase nada, sobre este ex-guerrilheiro que regressou a Timor-Leste há relativamente pouco tempo para fazer cair o regime de Xanana Gusmão. O Gusmão corrupto e desleal para com a revolução maubere. O Gusmão que derrubou o governo eleito da Fretilin – quando era presidente da República – para se fazer senhor e dono do país. O Gusmão, senhor e dono dos destinos de Timor-Leste e dos timorenses que, com a falsidade e hipocrisia que o caracteriza, dá voltas e reviravoltas mantendo-se no poder que dita os destinos da nação da meia-ilha que é habitada por um povo excecional, que nunca será bem divulgado nos canhenhos das penas ou teclados alfanuméricos que os descrevem. Aliás, tentam descrevê-los. Isto porque só os timorenses, ao longo dos anos, serão capazes de se descrever a eles próprios. Não um ou mais estrangeiros que se proponham ser protagonistas da tarefa. 

A história dos timorenses e de Timor-Leste está por escrever. E assim continuará. Até que um timorense, ou vários, tenham a capacidade de reunir o que já foi escrito com verdade (pouco) e complete o que falta escrever, o que falta transmitir sobre os grandes valores daquela gente que tem passado as passas do Algarve, de Jakarta, de Camberra e de Washington. Um dia acontecerá. Pena que eu não esteja então vivo… para ler, gostar e criticar (se fosse o caso). Certo é que, então, levarei no coração o meu Timor-Leste. Irei feliz e agradecido por ter convivido com um povo tão importante na história da humanidade. Isso é coisa pessoal. Que aqui, agora, transmito por saber que a vida me escapa entre os dias que me restam e não posso deixar de emitir neste Inverno último da vida a sacralidade da minha admiração ao dizer: obrigado, meus queridos irmãos timorenses, obrigado por me terem deixado conhecer-vos e ensinado a amar-vos. A vós e a essa terra, mar e montanhas. A esse céu que talvez me convide a habitá-lo quando chegar a minha hora. Obrigado.

Mauk... E, a seguir, quem mais?

Mauk Moruk tinha o destino traçado. Atreveu-se a meter-se com o regime de Xanana Gusmão, da “Caixa”… Xanana disse, daquele opositor, que ele “era maluco”. A páginas tantas, também o disse, há anos atrás, de Alfredo Reinado, seu opositor. Antes seu colaborador no golpe de Estado que derrubou Mari Alkatiri e o fez fechar-se em casa, rodeado de segurança privada e de confiança (camaradas)… Não fosse o representante de Deus e do Diabo naquela meia-ilha decidir “despachar” Alkatiri. Foi tentado com Taur Matan Ruak… Mas não resultou, felizmente. Afinal, quer Alkatiri, quer Taur, já se esqueceram disso tudo. Agora até partilham um pouquinho dos poderes em Timor-Leste. Pergunte-se: quando é que os timorenses poderão ser donos dos seus próprios destinos? Quando é que os corruptos, os ladrões, os assassinos, o representante Deus e do Diabo ali (Xanana Gusmão) ocuparão o lugar natural de quem comete crimes de lesa-Pátria? O julgamento, a condenação, a prisão. Quando?

Mauk Moruk tinha o seu destino traçado ao meter-se com o Deus e Diabo timorense, Xanana Gusmão. Não era maluco, mas era baralhado, sem uma estratégia traçada e convenientemente divulgada. Merecedora de aprovação pelos timorenses. Moruk, em dado passo, quando guerrilheiro pela libertação do país, traiu o seu país e o seu povo, indo para o lado dos assassinos e ocupantes indonésios. Mas também Xanana, de outro modo, o fez. Que se saiba, Xanana não diz dele próprio que é maluco. Aliás, é tão são que continua a governar numa sombra que só não o vê quem não quer ver. Nem por acaso tem no seu parceiro, agora ministro das polícias e de muito mais que isso, Longuinhos Monteiro, o fiel servidor. Servidor que contaminou e destruiu provas do assassinato de Alfredo Reinado e do seu lugar-tenente, número dois… Isso são contas de outro rosário? Não. São contas do mesmo rosário. O rosário manuseado por Xanana Gusmão.

Basta. Chega. Paz a Mauk Moruk, o Maubere Tuba Rai Metin. Morreu a merecer o respeito dos timorenses seus irmãos. Abanou Xanana e o seu poder. A tal ponto que ele abdicou de ser primeiro-ministro oficial para passar a ser primeiro-ministro na sombra, com a cumplicidade de Mari Alkatiri e de Taur Matan Ruak. Rui Araújo, agora PM oficial, nem é para aqui chamado.

Não matem, julguem e prendam. Os corruptos, os ladrões do povo timorense, Xanana Gusmão e todos aqueles que devem o que falta ao povo anónimo mas muito amado pelos que o admiram, que até o veneram, porque merece.

Líder de grupo ilegal timorense morto por forças de segurança

Díli, 8 ago (Lusa) - O líder do Conselho da Revolução Maubere (CRM), Mauk Moruk, e o seu número dois foram hoje mortos numa troca de tiros com efetivos das forças de segurança timorenses que os perseguiam desde março, confirmou fonte policial.

"Os confrontos ocorreram cerca das 17:00 [09:00 de Lisboa] a sul de Baucau. Posso confirmar que Mauk Moruk e o seu braço direto foram abatidos", disse à agência Lusa fonte sénior da Polícia Nacional de Timor-Leste.

A troca de tiros ocorreu próximo a uma zona onde na quarta-feira já tinha havido confrontos entre apoiantes do Mauk Moruk, um dos quais morreu, e efetivos das forças armadas e da polícia, dos quais dois ficaram feridos.

SERÁ QUE XANANA MANDOU MATAR?

April 07, 2015 EXCLUSIVE By Ted McDonnell IT started in the jungles of Timor Leste in 1985, a senior commander of Falintil allegedly ordered the murder of a number of his fellow commanders. The exact number of Timorese commanders who lost their lives during that period -- remains sketchy. Some say as many as 11 were murdered, others say 8 were murdered during the mid 1980s; and a number of other commanders allegedly had their names given to the Indonesian Army during the 1990s. The deaths and betrayal of at least 11 Timorese commanders, is as significant to Timor Leste as the Balibo 5 murders to Australia. None of the men who lost their lives; or their families have ever had justice. The fear of reprisals has stopped many former commanders revealing the truth, however, now in their latter years several respected former Falintil commanders believe the truth must be revealed. These "unspoken" murders and betrayals committed in the jungles of Timor Leste during the fight against the Indonesians were 'all about power and the ongoing internal fight between Falintil Commanders' over political ethos that ended in a series of deaths of Timorese Commanders which started from 1985. The Timorese have for almost 30 years been too scared to talk about these horrific crimes against their own for fear of reprisals. The men who were ordered to be killed in the jungles of Timor Leste by a fellow commander or who later had their names handed to the Indonesian Army were: Aquilis, Fonsiano, Fernando Sousa, Rodak, Sabalae, Conis Santana, Derek Maulelak, Bendito Mauselon, Oka, Kilik, David Alex Daitula. (These names have been transcribed from Tetum and we apologise for the poor translations) Each of these men committed themselves and their families to fight against murderous Indonesian regime who invaded their country in 1975, but each of the commanders were allegedly either murdered or betrayed by their own Timorese brothers. According to one of the former Falintil commanders these men were killed in various locations in Timor Leste. The locations of the deaths were Ossu and Viqueque districts; the Bacau district and Lospalos. Only the commanders of Falintil during this period know the fully story and who gave the orders for the cold blooded killings of these men. Some have decided to come forth due to their age and fear that these murders and betrayals would go unpunished. Each of these former commanders were interviewed separately, at a different time and different location. All the interviews were recorded. Each of the former Falintil commanders name the same person who ordered the killings. The perpetrator and his henchmen have gone free for almost 30 years. Some have reached high positions in Timor Leste society; some have literally disappeared believed dead. The three former Faltinil commanders interviewed each alleged the same thing that the orders to kill or betray the commanders allegedly came from former Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao. The former commanders said that during the early 80s and leading up to the events of 1985 there was a power struggle within Timor Leste’s Falintil. According to each former commander interviewed a 'much younger Xanana Gusmao wanted absolute control of Falintil and disagreed with the political leanings of many of his fellow commanders'. The commanders allege Gusmao “gave the order” to kill the his fellow commanders in 1985. Each of the former commanders reaffirmed the allegation that Gusmao was behind the murders and betrayls. Each of their stories match. The allegations of murder and betrayal of the Timorese commanders comes at a time when the spotlight is firmly on the antics of the now former Prime Minister and his power games. There have long been allegations that Gusmao was also behind the attempted assassination of former President Jose Ramos Horta and the murder of Alfredo Reinado. Attempts to interview key players involved in the 2008 assassination plot were declined. Two as we know are dead. Reinado was killed supposedly by a member of the Timor Leste Defence Force when found with other 'rebels' within the former President's compound. However, a coroner’s report reveal that Reinado was shot at close range in the back of the head. An autopsy report indicated that Reinado died after being shot through the eye at near point-blank range. According to a forensic expert consulted by The Australian newspaper, the autopsy’s finding of “burning/blackening of the surrounding skin” to each of Reinado’s four wounds (to the eye, chest, neck, and hand) means that he must have been shot from a range of less than 30 centimetres. The report on Reinado’s colleague Leopoldino Exposto found that he was killed by a single gunshot to the back of the head, also by a “high-velocity rifle fired at close range”. It is also necessary for the new Prime Minister Dr Rui Maria de Araújo to call for the same inquiry. Murder is murder is murder. The Balibo 5 never received the true justice they deserved, but it is about time justice came for the Timor 11 now that Timor Leste is free and peaceful. **Note: The above story was taken from interviews with three legendary Timorese commanders.
